Careva is an online gallery dedicated to showcasing and selling original artworks by Mexican artists.

By accessing our website, browsing our collection, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Careva operates as a curated platform connecting collectors with original artworks selected with care and intention.

Artworks and Product Information

All artworks available on Careva are original pieces unless otherwise stated.

Each artwork page includes relevant information such as:

  • Artist name

  • Title of the artwork

  • Medium

  • Dimensions

  • Year of creation

  • Price

  • Availability

  • Shipping information

Careva makes every effort to display artwork images, colors, textures, and details as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, photography, or the handmade nature of each piece.

Availability

Many artworks sold through Careva are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Availability is subject to confirmation. In the unlikely event that an artwork becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Careva will notify the customer and issue a full refund.

Careva reserves the right to remove, update, or modify artwork listings at any time.

All prices are displayed in euros

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT (BTW).

Shipping costs, import duties, customs fees, or additional taxes may apply depending on the delivery destination. Any applicable shipping costs will be displayed during checkout whenever possible.

Careva reserves the right to correct pricing errors before confirming an order.

Orders

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and the customer receives an order confirmation email.

Careva reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Artwork unavailability

  • Payment issues

  • Suspected fraud

  • Incorrect pricing or product information

  • Delivery restrictions

If an order is cancelled by Careva, the customer will receive a full refund.

Payments

Careva accepts payments through secure third-party payment providers, including:

  • iDeal

  • WERO

  • Mastercard

Careva does not store full credit card or payment details. Payment information is processed directly by the selected payment provider according to its own security and privacy standards.

Shipping and Delivery

Artworks are shipped from Hilversum, The Netherland, unless otherwise stated.

Each artwork is carefully inspected and packaged before shipment.

Shipping times, costs, destinations, tracking information, damaged shipment procedures, and delivery conditions are described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to the shipping terms provided during checkout and in the Shipping & Returns Policy.

Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

Customers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the artwork, without giving any reason. The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day the customer receives the artwork.

Once the customer has notified Careva of their decision to withdraw, the artwork must be returned in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Returns, cancellations, return shipping costs, inspection procedures, and non-returnable items are further described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Returned artworks must be received in their original condition. Careva reserves the right to reduce or refuse a refund if the artwork is deemed damaged or diminished in value after shipping or handling, once the artwork has been inspected upon return.

Certificates of Authenticity

Where applicable, artworks may include a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist or Careva.

If an artwork is returned, the Certificate of Authenticity and any accompanying documentation must also be returned in their original condition.

Failure to return the certificate or documentation may affect refund eligibility.

Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, texts, photographs, logos, designs, and website content are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or any other intellectual property rights to the buyer.

The artist retains all intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially use any artwork or website content without prior written permission.

Use of the Website

Customers agree to use the Careva website lawfully and respectfully.

The website may not be used for:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Unauthorized commercial use

  • Copying or scraping website content

  • Interfering with website functionality

  • Violating applicable laws or third-party rights

Careva reserves the right to restrict access to the website or cancel accounts in case of misuse.

Personal Data and Privacy

Careva processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, customers acknowledge that their personal information may be processed for purposes including order fulfillment, payment processing, delivery, customer service, and legal compliance.

Limitation of Liability

Careva takes reasonable care to ensure that the website, product information, and services are accurate and reliable.

However, Careva shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Website interruptions

  • Delivery delays caused by third-party carriers

  • Customs delays

  • Technical errors

  • Force majeure events

  • Incorrect information provided by the customer

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Force Majeure

Careva shall not be responsible for delays or failure to fulfill obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, customs delays, governmental actions, technical failures, or other unforeseen events.

Changes to These Terms

Careva reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on this website. Continued use of the website after changes have been published means that the customer accepts the updated Terms & Conditions.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent Dutch court (kantonrechter), unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
